Store your microgreens in the refrigerator in their jars to maintain freshness. They typically last between 7-10 days when stored properly.

Can I reuse the microgreen jars?

Yes, if you choose not to return the jars for recycling, we encourage you to repurpose them for storing other fruits and vegetables, which can help prolong their freshness.

Are your microgreens organically grown?

We adhere to organic growing practices, using non-GMO, organically sourced seeds and
avoiding synthetic pesticides, even though we are not certified organic.

How long do microgreens last after delivery?

Stored correctly in their jars, our microgreens can last up to 7-10 days in the refrigerator.

Do I need to wash the microgreens? Why aren't they pre-washed?

Yes, please rinse your microgreens gently under cold water before eating. We do not pre-wash them to ensure maximum freshness, as washing adds moisture that can shorten their shelf life.

When are microgreens harvested for delivery?

Our microgreens are harvested on the day of delivery, ensuring you receive the freshest greens
possible.

What is your delivery schedule?

We deliver fresh microgreens every Saturday to ensure you receive the freshest produce possible.

Can I cancel or reschedule my delivery?

Once an order is placed, it cannot be rescheduled since the microgreens begin growing immediately. If needed, you may cancel your order before delivery, but we encourage you to contact us directly for assistance.

What should I do if I'm not home during delivery?

Splendid Sprouts provides contactless delivery. If you're not home, your order will be left at the address you provided in an insulated bag to help protect freshness.

To keep your microgreens in the best possible condition, please bring them inside and refrigerate them as soon as you can. Microgreens are harvested fresh and delivered the same day to preserve their nutrients, taste, and texture. Delayed refrigeration can reduce shelf life and overall quality.

What is your refund policy?

Since our microgreens are specially grown for each order and begin the growing process
immediately after purchase, we are unable to offer refunds. However, if there’s an issue with your order upon delivery, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

How does the jar return program work?

Returning your jars helps keep our packaging sustainable and our planet a little greener. Here’s how it works:

Option 1 – Drop Off:
Bring your empty Splendid Sprouts jars back to the chalet during open hours. No appointment needed.

Option 2 – Schedule a Pickup:
If you can’t make it to the chalet, email us to schedule a Saturday pickup. Leave your jars outside by 8:00 AM and we’ll handle the rest.

Get Rewarded:
For every 3 jars you return, you’ll receive $2 off your next order as a thank you for supporting our zero-waste mission.

What condition must the jars be in for return?

Jars need to be undamaged (not cracked, chipped, or deeply scratched) with the lid securely in place to be eligible for return. You must also have a Splendid Sprouts Jar Return Bag to participate in the return program. Join the rewards program to receive your free return bag.
