Splendid Sprouts exists from a clear recognition that access to high quality, intentionally grown produce should not be shaped by circumstance. The standard of what people are able to access should not be determined by location, resources, or opportunity. It should be treated as an essential part of everyday life.
Produce quality, human health, environmental responsibility, and long term well being are closely connected. They are not separate conversations. How produce is grown, what standards it is held to, and who it is accessible to all carry lasting implications for both people and the planet.


This understanding defined the direction of Splendid Sprouts. Not as a convenience driven growing operation, but as a deliberate effort to grow with integrity, purpose, and accessibility in mind.

Meet the founder

Venessa Ellise founded Splendid Sprouts with a purpose rooted in health, equity, and long term impact. Her vision was shaped by a growing awareness that many communities lack consistent access to high quality, nourishing foods, not because they do not care about their health, but because they often lack access, education, or opportunity.

She believes that food should be a source of healing, strength, and empowerment, not something limited by neighborhood, income, or circumstance. This belief became the foundation for building a business centered on intention rather than convenience.

Her passion for human wellness and environmental responsibility led her toward nutrient dense growing methods that support both personal health and planetary care. Through Splendid Sprouts, she aims to create more than fresh greens. She aims to create awareness, education, and access.
